In this section, we'll guide you through the initial steps to get started with our platform.
The Sola Dashboard is an online portal through which you can build, run, and manage workflows.
To log on to the dashboard, we currently support:
The dashboard serves as the central hub where you can view all of the workflows you have created. Here's an overview of what you can expect from each tab:
Workflows: Any workflows you have imported will be listed on this page. You may also import workflows after recording by clicking on the blue button to + IMPORT WORKFLOW in the upper right hand corner.
<aside> 💡 All of the workflows you import and edit will be saved to your profile. If you get logged out or if you switch devices or browsers, you can log back in and you'll be redirected to the dashboard upon successful authentication!

Executions: A record of all workflow runs (“executions”) and their status (e.g., queued, running, success, failed) can be found here. You are able to search for specific executions based on a number of filters (e.g., name, owner, status) and click into them to view more details.
Orchestration: Configure how much processing capacity each workflow is allowed to consume by setting a limit on the number of virtual machines that can execute it concurrently. This helps ensure fair resource distribution across workflows and allows you to control prioritization within the execution queue, which processes tasks in chronological order by default unless capacity is constrained by other workflows.
Members: The members tab contains a list of all users / accounts associated with a specific organization and their associated role. Based on their role, users have varying levels of permissions, allowing them to do (or not do) different actions on the platform.
Integrations: Here, you can find out the integrations available on our platform. In some cases, integrations facilitate easier data-in and data-out to your workflows, so we offer a set of common integrations (ex. email, Salesforce, etc.). Integrations are only available on some plans.
Shared Variables: Allows for storage of variables (e.g., logins) that are often used across multiple workflows. Adjusting the value of a shared variable will automatically update the value in all of the workflows where that value is used.
API Keys: For finding/creating your secret API Keys for secure workflow executions. Each account can have up to 5 API keys at a time and they can have different scopes (refer to the APIs page to have more details).
Extension: To record your workflows. Download our approved extension from the Chrome web store!
The Sola recording extension is the what allows users to record their workflows as a starting point for building.
Visit the Chrome store and download our extension here.
Click on the Puzzle icon in the top right corner and toggle the pin icon for the Sola extension for ease of access!
